Black Russian

Ingredients:
  • Vodka, 50 ml,
  • Coffee liqueur, 25 ml,
  • Ice, 1 handful,
  • Cola, Splash,
Method:
  • Step 1, Put the vodka and the coffee liqueur into a tumbler filled with ice and stir gently. Top with a splash of cola if you prefer a longer drink.

Black Russian cocktail supposedly first appeared in Brussels in 1949 at the hotel Metropole, circa 5,708 km from Russia. Its reported creator, bartender Gustave Tops is believed to have created the cocktail for Perle Mesta who was the US Ambassador to Luxembourg. 

Dalgona coffee

Ingredients:
  • Instant coffee, 2 tbsp,
  • Granulated Sugar, 2 tbsp,
  • Hot water, 2 tbsp,
  • Milk, 400 ml,
  • Coffee Liqueur, 2 tsp,
Method:
  • Step 1, Combine the instant coffee, sugar and hot water to a mixing bowl. Whip with an electric mixer, until it is light and holds stiff peaks. Fold the coffee liqueur into the mixture.
  • Step 2, Heat and divide the milk between two heatproof glasses. Spoon the coffee mixture on top.
Prep time: 5 mins

Dalgona coffee is a beverage made by whipping equal proportions of instant coffee powder, sugar, and hot water until it becomes creamy and then adding it to cold or hot milk.

Espresso martini

Ingredients:
  • Vodka, 100 ml,
  • Espresso coffee, 50 ml,
  • Coffee liqueur, 50 ml, xcoffeeliqeur
  • Sugar syrup, 1 tbsp,
  • Ice, 1 handful,
Method:
  • Step 1, Add the ingredients into a cocktail shaker. Shake until the outside of the cocktail shaker feels icy cold.
  • Step 2, Strain into two chilled glasses. Garnish each with coffee beans (if you have them).
