Bloody Mary

Ingredients:
  • Ice, 1 handful,
  • Vodka, 100 ml,
  • Tomato juice, 500 ml,
  • Lemon, 1 for juice (1 tbsp) and 2 slices,
  • Worcestershire sauce, 2 dashes,
  • Tabasco sauce, 2 dashes,
  • Salt, 1 pinch,
  • Black pepper, 1 pinch,
  • Celery sticks, 2,
Method:
  • Step 1, Place the ice in a large and pour in the vodka and tomato juice.
  • Step 2, Add the Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce (Add more Tabasco if you like it very spicy), the lemon juice and the salt and pepper. Stir then strain the cocktail into 2 tall glasses.
  • Step 3, Top up with fresh ice, add a celery stick and lemon slice to both glasses and enjoy

A Bloody Mary is a cocktail containing vodka, tomato juice, and other spices and flavorings including Worcestershire sauce, hot sauces, garlic, herbs, horseradish, celery, olives, salt, black pepper, lemon juice, lime juice or celery salt. In the United States, it is usually consumed in the morning or early afternoon, and is popular as a hangover cure. The Bloody Mary was invented in the 1920s or 1930s. There are various theories as to the origin of the drink and its name. 

Virgin Mary

Ingredients:
  • Tomato Juice, 180 ml,
  • Lemon juice, 20 ml,
  • Salt and Pepper, Dash,
  • Tabasco Sauce, Dash,
  • Basil Leaves, 6,
  • Celery Stick, 1,
  • Pickle, 1,
  • Worcestershire Sauce, Dash,
  • Ice, 1 handful,
Method:
  • Step 1, Mix the tomato juice, lemon juice and basil with a dash of tabasco and Worcestershire sauce, in a glass with ice.
  • Step 2, Add a dash of salt and pepper and stir.
  • Step 3, Garnish with the celery and pickle.
