Whiskey Sour

The classic whisky sour, that has spawned so many variations. 

Whiskey Sour

  • Preparation time
    5 mins


  • Whisky

    50 ml
  • Lemon juice

    35 ml
  • Lemon zest

    Small slice
  • Sugar syrup

    12 ml
  • Angostura bitters

    2 dashes
  • Egg white

  • Ice

    1 handful

Glass type


  • Step 1

    Shake all of the ingredients together, keeping the lemon zest out.
  • Step 2

    Strain into a glass with ice cubes
  • Step 3

    Squeeze the zest over the glass to add oils and serve.
