Invented by Victor J. Bergeron in 1944 at his restaurant Trader Vic's this tropical and fruity cocktail will certainly make you feel like you're in a tiki bar!

  • Gold Rum

    20 ml
  • White Rum

    20 ml
  • Demerara liquor

    20 ml
  • Lime Juice

    20 ml
  • Almond Syrup

    10 ml
  • Mint

    a few leaves
  • Orange

  • Ice

    2 handfuls

Glass type


  • Step 1

    Add all ingredients, besides the mint and orange, into a cocktail mixer. Fill mixing tin with cubed ice and shake.
  • Step 2

    Fill a goblet style glass with crushed ice and strain the cocktail into glass. Add the orange slice and mint.
